Christian Character in Practice

Doctor Dipa Hart

Dr. Dipa Hart

Dr. Hart developed the Christian Character in Practice (CChiP) assessment through her decades of experience and research in higher education and churches in areas of formation and development. Implemented at seminaries and churches, CChiP measures perceived and actual performance in ministry positions through a self and 360-evaluation digital assessment. Utilizing it with thousands of students and coupled with Dr. Hart's extensive research in its various areas of assessment, this tool is the premier method for judging and developing ministry practice available today.

Dr. Hart’s background also includes field education, hospital chaplaincy, spiritual formation, educational administration, church planting, and missions work. Her other academic research interests undergirding the assessment include ecclesial and organizational leadership studies, Christian spirituality, and intercultural engagement. Alongside CChiP, Dr. Hart is also a trained facilitator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). She identifies as a 1.5 generation Indian-American who because of a calling to ministry, procured degrees from Regent University (Ph.D, Organizational Leadership), Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM), and the University of Texas at Austin. She formerly served in various leadership capacities for non-profits, including chairing an ATFE caucus, the Evangelical Association of Theological Field Educators (EATFE) and for several years serving and chairing the steering committee for the Association of Theological Field Educators.
